We research how human activity affects the water and nutrient cycles that we all depend on. Our current projects investigate nutrient pollution in agricultural landscapes in France and water chemistry in river networks undergoing permafrost degradation in Alaska. We also use expert assessment methods to explore how sub-sea permafrost and wildfire will respond to climate change around the globe.
We are recruiting three undergraduate students and two graduate students in the coming academic year. There are opportunities for many kinds of students, including field and lab scientist, creative writers and artists, and technical and data researchers.
