We research how human activity affects the water and nutrient cycles that we all depend on. Our current projects investigate nutrient pollution in agricultural landscapes in France and water chemistry in river networks undergoing permafrost degradation in Alaska. We also use expert assessment methods to explore how sub-sea permafrost and wildfire will respond to climate change around the globe.

Become a citizen scientist March 1st and March 3rd by participating in the Utah Lake Collaborative. We will be training and sending out volunteers to sample 400 sites in the Utah Lake Watershed. All ages and experience levels are invited.
